Will things ever slow down??? Just when you think that one project is finally done, a couple more are dropped on you. Such are these times of our lives.
Your NACS-FSA Board has been busy too. Last week the Officers and Zone Reps accepted an invitation and visited the National Office. We spent two full days in Washington DC meeting with the Administrator Richard Fordyce and his staff, DAFO Peggy Browne and her staff, DAFLP Bill Cobb and his staff, and Assistant to the DAFP Brad Karmen and DAFP staff. It was very interesting and we learned lots. There have been changes since the stand up of the FPAC Business Center and we learned more. We also had a chance to spend an evening meal with Andy Quinn and Kendrick Burns, our legislative consultants. They are going to be working on our sponsor partnerships and we hope to have positive updates at convention. The National Office staff is genuinely interested in our concerns and discussion items. They answered all of our questions and gathered our input. We have several follow up items on our list and may be recruiting some help on a few projects. Please stay tuned. Kim Eilerman, Secretary, will be putting together a newsletter to be emailed shortly and posted to the NACS website. Keep your eyes open for that. *******************CONVENTION REGISTRATION*********************** It is time to register for and make plans for convention.
