I recently received an email from a contractor for the Emergency Preparedness Division. The letter stated that my position (as a Farm Loan Manager ) I am required to have a Public Trust Moderate Risk background investigation. I am required to complete the e-QIP questionaire, declaration of employment, Fingerprint chart,Certification and Release of Information, and Medical Release , and Fair Credit Reporting (MedicalRelease and Credit Release is on one form).
I have worked for USDA for 28 years. Previous to FSA, I was with FmHA
Has anyone else received this letter and why are they searching for information on existing employees, now. I have searched 1-SEM and notices that may be current. There are none that I have found justifying new background checks and Medical Releases.
